What's new at Knottie's Pattern Database?

Right now- Everything! Please come in, look around, add a pattern. If something doesn't work, or you'd like to make a suggestion, please feel free to email me. All email will be read, but I may not be able to respond to them all, or implement all suggestions.

What's next?

Well, I have big plans for the future, but there are no deadlines--my day job and my crafting keep me busy as well. Here's a list of my intentions for the next big "releases" (subject to change, of course):

Release 1.5

• Fixes
• New Categories
• Minor Tweaks

Release 2.0

• User authentication system-anyone can view patterns, but you must register and login to post them. This will allow us to block spammers and scammers, as well as lay the groundwork for future features.
• Improved search options, with more flexibility
• Improved "add a pattern" form, making it easier to cross-categorize patterns
• Sortable tables to make your search results eaiser to scan

Release 3.0

• Boolean keyword searches
• Users can create their own lists of patterns in three categories--"Patterns I've Made", "Patterns I'm Working On", and "Patterns I'd Like to Make"
• Submission forms for suggestions for new categories and the like
• Improved "add a pattern" form, with dropdown menus for yarns

Release 4.0 - Pattern Reviews, which will include the following

• Rate the pattern directions
• Rate your finished object (if you followed the directions, does it match the picture?)
• Time spent
• Yarn substitutions
• Modifications made
• Comments
• One uploaded picture, with the option to link to more
